Stacker is a native macOS app that merges a set of focus-bracketed frames into a single, fully sharp photograph — no Photoshop required.

Features

  • RAW support — reads Canon CR2/CR3, Nikon NEF, Sony ARW and common RAW formats alongside JPEG/PNG/TIFF.
  • Fast previews — extracts embedded JPEG previews so even 50 MB RAW files load instantly.
  • Auto-alignment — optional phase-correlation FFT alignment corrects small shifts between frames.
  • Smart blending — per-pixel Laplacian sharpness maps select the sharpest content from each frame, with a safe fallback in dark or uniform areas.
  • Flexible export — save as PNG (lossless), JPEG (adjustable quality), or TIFF.

Built with Tauri 2, a Rust image-processing core, and a Svelte 5 UI.
